Russia’s Rosneft seeks contractor for 3 bln rbl gas turbine plant

MOSCOW, Aug 26 (PRIME) -- Russian state-run oil major Rosneft has announced a 3.049 billion ruble tender seeking contractor for construction and launch of a 150 megawatt (MW) Polar gas turbine power plant at its Vankor field, as seen by PRIME on Friday in materials of the government’s Web site for state procurements.

The plant must be constructed from November 2016 through January–March 2018. Bids will be collected until September 13, results will be summarized on November 16.

The plan should provide power to oil and gas condensate fields of the Vankor cluster, including the Suzunskoye, Tagulskoye, and Lodochnoye fields. Rosneft announced a similar tender in April, but the price was set at 1.767 billion rubles then and construction must have been launched in July.
